Welcome to On the Trail. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

On the Trail is operated by James Oakley, sole trader (not VAT registered).

2. Orders

You may order books in two ways:

• Amazon orders: You may order directly from Amazon via links on our site. These orders are subject to Amazon’s terms and conditions. Delivery will be according to the timescales of the delivery service you select. All customer service for such orders is handled by Amazon.
• Website orders: You may place bulk orders (5 or more copies of the same title) directly with us. These orders are usually delivered in 3–4 days, though delivery may take longer during busy periods (Amazon advise up to 2 weeks).

3. Delivery

Orders placed directly with On the Trail are fulfilled by Amazon. Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel a website order any time before it enters the despatch process. Orders placed through Amazon cannot be cancelled through On the Trail and must be managed directly with Amazon.

5. Returns and Problems

We do not accept returns unless there is a problem with your order. If there is an issue, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

6. Liability

We are not responsible for delays caused by Amazon or third-party delivery providers. Our liability is limited to the price you paid for the goods.
